Charlie Chaplin (Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin)


(1889 – 1977) Usually known by his stage name of Charlie Chaplin. A British comic actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, editor and composer, who rose to fame in the silent era. He became a worldwide icon through his screen persona "The Tramp" and is considered one of the most important figures of the film industry.
