Richard Bach(born 1936) Full name: Richard David Bach. An American writer. He is widely known as the author of the hugely popular best-sellers "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" and "Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah", among others. He is noted for his love of flying and for his books related to air flight and flying in a metaphorical context. Bad things are not the worst things that can happen to us. Nothing is the worst thing that can happen to us! Don't be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends. Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you. Every problem has a gift for you in its hands. Get this in mind early: We never grow up. In order to live free and happily you must sacrifice boredom. It is not always an easy sacrifice. It is by not always thinking of yourself, if you can manage it, that you might somehow be happy. Until you make room in your life for someone as important to you as yourself, you will always be searching and lost. Learning is finding out what you already know. |
