Simone de Beauvoir

(1908 – 1986) Full name: Simone Lucie Ernestine Marie Bertrand de Beauvoir. A French writer, philosopher, political activist, feminist and social theorist. She had a significant influence on both feminist existentialism and feminist theory, most famous for her treatise "The Second Sex".
