Niccolo Machiavelli(1469 – 1527) Full name: Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli. An Italian historian, politician, diplomat, philosopher, humanist, musician, poet, romantic comedic playwright, and writer based in Florence during the Renaissance. He was also a key figure in realist political theory, crucial to European statecraft during the Renaissance. It is double pleasure to deceive the deceiver.
