William Faulkner


(1897 – 1962) Full name: William Cuthbert Faulkner (born Falkner), also known as Will Faulkner. An American novelist, Nobel Prize laureate and poet whose works feature his native state of Mississippi. He was regarded as one of the most influential writers of the twentieth century and is one of the most important writers in both American literature generally and Southern literature specifically.
